️ The whole world and Ukraine honor the memory of the Holodomor victims. At a time when Russia wants to destroy Ukrainians again, the truth about the aggressor’s terrible crimes must be remembered and never forgiven.
The Holodomor is a big part of our history that will never stop hurting, because even today the entire civilized world continues to learn new details about the number of victims of the Soviet government’s terror and how the Ukrainian people lived at that time. That is why it is so important today to know our history, no matter how painful it may be.

Today, people are no longer afraid to talk about mass murder through artificially created famine, but some countries are still in no hurry to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
Every year Ukraine celebrates the Holodomor Remembrance Day. In 2023, this day falls on November 25.
During the event, the implementers of the project about real Ukrainians “Those Who Saw the War” Iryna Savenko, Luka Vovk, and Heorhii Shcherbakov will talk about the 10 most famous studies that describe the facts of the terrible time of famine and the stories of those who remained a secret for many. They will also introduce a selection of books (by both Ukrainian and foreign authors) on the Holodomor.

In the end, the guests will hold a short discussion with the participants of the event.
This is worth knowing to better understand the tragic pages of the history of the Ukrainian people. And most importantly, we should not forget that the Holodomor was caused by the same enemy who occupied Donbas in 2014, annexed Crimea, and in 2022 launched a full-scale war in Ukraine.
