It is time to celebrate the contribution of the Ukrainian and European volunteer movements to the future victory of Ukraine!

The Ukrainian organizers under the patronage of the Consulate of Valencia invite all volunteers and volunteer organizations, as well as citizens of Ukraine and Spain, to become part of the historic event “First Volunteer Award”, which was created to recognize and thank volunteers for their selfless and great work!

“The First Volunteer Award will be held at the Instituto Lluís Vives in Valencia, Spain.

The award will feature the most famous stars of Ukrainian show business.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Spain, the Consul of Valencia, the Mayor of Valencia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, the Minister of Culture of the Kingdom of Spain and other highly respected political and public figures of Ukraine and the Kingdom of Spain will be the honored guests of the event.

From the very beginning of the war, the Kingdom of Spain organized large-scale initiatives to help the people and the state of Ukraine, having an active pro-Ukrainian position in the global socio-political space. A reliable helping hand was extended to us, and holding on to it tightly, we closed our shoulders and stood guard over the peace and tranquility of civilized Europe and the entire world, taking the brunt of the attack.

We greatly appreciate the volunteer and other assistance organized by the Kingdom.

Last September, Kyiv and Barcelona became sister cities. Mayors Vitali Klitschko and Ada Collau sealed this with a handshake during a friendly visit.

We are adding to this a glorious annual fraternal tradition – the First Volunteer Award, which we will undoubtedly hold next year in the conditions of Victory and Peace.

Each award will find its own Hero. Every contribution will be recognized.

We will organize a large collection to restore the medical sector of Ukraine and introduce the Spaniards to the bright and unique culture of Ukraine!
